4 Ra Hygge FAQs

Mushroom coffee tends to have lower acidity compared to traditional coffee. This can benefit individuals with sensitive stomachs or acid reflux, as it may cause less irritation and discomfort.

Our patented post-roasting process for adding mushrooms shows that the acidity is as low as pH 6,5 (compared to normal coffee with pH 3-5).

Just prepare your Rå Hygge coffee just like you would prepare any regular coffee, depending on the type of brew you have. Our selection includes whole beans or filter ground for plunger jug or pour-over. Lion's Mane and Reishi are lighter roasts; some prefer a slightly higher dosage for a more pungent taste.

It all depends on your personal coffee preference, so we strongly recommend experimenting until you find a flavor that fits your tastebuds.

My machine recommends against flavored coffee due to deposits in the grinder and brew unit. Would this be considered that?

Answer: Depending on the quality of the grinder, there may be differences in how sensitive the machinery is to any alterations to the whole bean. We have a coating on the whole beans, so if yours is not a "Peugeot" type of grinding (mechanical), it might react to it. In this case, go for a pre-ground Rå Hygge blend.

If you want an espresso ground, we recommend getting the beans fine ground at your coffee store.

Conscious Hygge, Health, and Happiness are summarized vision of healthy eating and drinking. Rå Hygge tasty organic low-acid coffee with functional mushroom extracts is a unique creation, which helps you say goodbye to the jitters usually associated with caffeine. Instead, you can enjoy a balanced boost with sustained energy.

Rå Hygge have created a method in their roastery for coffee blends with less acidity so that even those sensitive to caffeine could enjoy the hygge of coffee as whole beans or filter coffee.

Yes. Organic India tests each batch of herbs by a third-party certified lab for contaminants such as fungus, mold, yeast, bacteria, pesticides, and heavy metals. They test against standards issued by American Herbal Products Association. Additionally, they ensure Botanical Ingredient Identity Testing of their whole herbs.

Organic India is passionate about raising the standards within the organic industry by example, and is among the few herbal companies in India to receive ISO 9001-2008 and Kosher Certifications. Organic Certifications are available from Control Union and Aditi as per USDA, EU and NPOP Organic Standards. Organic India products are verified non-GMO by The Non-GMO Project.

Organic India is a whole herb company, and they use the unaltered and natural whole roots and herbs that they grow. Because of this, the amount of constituents is not measured or printed, such as withanolides, in Organic India herbs because that can vary among different harvests.

While it is unlikely that there would be any safety issue, Organic India do not recommend using its products past the expiration date on the packaging, as the effectiveness of herbs can no longer be guaranteed.

Organic India does not utilize plastic of any kind in our tea bags. Tea bags are made from organic manila hemp (also known as abaca) and the string is made from unbleached cotton fiber. Organic India chose this style because most stringless bags on the market employ filter paper that is coated with a polyamide plastic. This type of plastic coating melts under high temperatures, and as a result, some amount of plastic is leached into the tea as it brews.

The tea bag paper is made of unbleached, organic manila hemp (also known as abaca). The string is made from unbleached cotton fiber. This style was chosen because the stringless tea bags that are currently on the market employ filter paper that is coated with a polyamide plastic.

All Organic India herbs, after being organically grown, are air-dried either in the sun or shade according to each herb’s requirements. Organic India processes all herbs in certified organic facilities; Organic India grinds its herbs into a 30 mesh particle size to maintain each herb’s botanical integrity, and employs a dry steam sterilization technology to ensure its stringent product safety specifications. Each batch of herbs is then tested to make sure that it is in compliance with AHPA safety standards and regulations for contaminants such as fungus, mold, yeast, bacteria, pesticides, and heavy metals. Organic India does not add any fillers, artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives to products.

Although Organic India is a whole herb company and keeps herbs as close to their natural forms as possible, our herbs are heated above the threshold to be considered raw during the sterilization process. We use a chemical-free, sterilization process to clean our herbs and rid them of harmful pathogens. The heat treatment is kept at a minimum to maintain the herbs’ essential nutrients and enzymes.

The following formulations contain caffeine:

  • Tulsi Breakfast – 25 mg/tea bag
  • Tulsi Green – 12 mg/tea bag
  • Tulsi Masala Chai – 12 mg/tea bag

Whole herbs, as opposed to tinctures and extracts, provide the fullest spectrum of each plant’s unique phytochemical signature. We believe whole herbs and whole herbs enhanced with an herbal extract more effective than extracts alone. It is believed that the various constituents and parts of the plant work synergistically.

According to the Mayo Clinic website, functional foods are foods that have a potentially positive effect on health beyond basic nutrition.

Organic India’s pullulan is vegan, free of major allergens (soy, wheat, corn, dairy, and nuts), non-gmo, and certified USDA organic. Pullulan creates an oxygen barrier to ensure the shelf life of Organic India supplements. Pullulan capsules also protect encapsulated herbs from oxidation.

We recommend working with a practitioner before electing to increase dosages. Suggested dosages are meant to optimally support the average person. ORGANIC INDIA recommends working with a health professional or Ayurvedic practitioner to determine individualized dosages and to create a health plan that is suited to individual needs.

There aren’t equivalent doses between Tulsi tea and Tulsi capsules. Tulsi tea is an infusion — hot water allows for fast delivery to the bloodstream, while Tulsi capsules are processed by the digestive system until the phytochemical compounds are absorbed. We suggest Tulsi tea for quick absorption, and Tulsi capsules for those who don’t enjoy tea or who prefer the convenience of capsules.

Adaptogens are a unique class of herbs: They help balance, restore and protect the body from physical, environmental, and psychological stress. An adaptogen doesn’t have a specific action; they are multidirectional herbs that supports stress responses to normalize physiological functions, leading to stress resilience.

Originating in India, the 5,000 year-old Ayurvedic medical system is one of the world’s oldest health modalities. “Ayurveda” comes from two Sanskrit words — “ayuh” meaning “life” and “veda” meaning “science” or “wisdom.” Ayurveda is the sister science to Yoga and is based upon the same ancient Vedic texts. The system teaches us to live in balance with nature by following natural rhythms.

19 Colloidal Silver FAQs

According to Dr Pedersen, there are no harmful effects on the gut microbiota. Colloidal silver only destroys pathogens with a primitive cell structure, thereby maintaining the sensitive balance of the intestinal flora by preserving the good bacteria.

The only recurring side effect is argyria: argyria is characterised by a grey/blue colouration of the skin caused by very large doses of silver.

No cases of argyria have been documented following the ingestion of commercially manufactured colloidal silver. The rare reported cases of argyria occurred following the domestic production of silver salts, which were then consumed in very high doses.

Since 1 January 2010, colloidal silver is no longer considered a dietary supplement by the European Union. In France, all manufacturers of colloidal silver have registered it as a cosmetic product, which implies that it can only be used externally. After all, who would drink a cosmetic product?

In many other countries, such as Switzerland, it is considered a dietary supplement, so it can be ingested.

There is a page with more information on this topic.

Contrary to what you may have read, colloidal silver is not banned: it is sold as a cosmetic product by the manufacturers, which implies that ingestion is not permitted. Ingestion is prohibited throughout the EU following its status change in 2010.

To our knowledge, there are no interactions with colloidal silver.

On the contrary, beneficial effects have been observed when conventional antibiotics are taken in combination with silver, as demonstrated by a study published in 2013.

We recommend storing it in a dark place at room temperature: a medicine box is perfect. For the gel, remember to replace the transparent cap to avoid oxidation.

In countries where colloidal silver is considered a dietary supplement, take 10 ml per day internally or spray externally 3 times per day. There is a full page on this subject here

The antiseptic action of colloidal silver can be explained in at least 3 ways. All three explanations are tied to its ability to inactivate microbial DNA and proteins, without damaging the tissue:

  1. Disruption of the outer membrane proteins of pathogenic organisms
  2. Inactivation of bacterial enzymes
  3. Inhibition of bacterial reproduction by way of their DNA

Humans have enjoyed the beneficial properties of silver for thousands of years. Today, it is used to fight infectious diseases (bacteria, fungi, viruses, parasites) and to strengthen the immune system.

Colloidal silver is an aqueous solution made up of purified water and silver.

Conductivity meters (TDS meters) are designed to measure the conductivity of the water, and they are therefore calibrated with a saline solution. However, silver has an electric potential two times lower than salt: to obtain an approximate estimate of the concentration of the silver solution, you must multiply the result provided by your TDS by two. 2 x 20 = 40 PPM. Furthermore, testers that measure up to 999 PPM have a margin of error of 2%, or 20 PPM. These devices are therefore somewhat unreliable.

For qualitative results, you need to use a spectrophotometer instead of a basic meter for measuring dissolved solids, which was never intended to measure colloidal silver.

You can find all of the analyses proving the concentration of KATHAROS 40 PPM solution here.

There is no need for dilution; you can use your solution as it is. KATHAROS product, although more concentrated, still contains an extremely small quantity of silver.

KATHAROS product has a PAO (Period After Opening) of 6 months: once the bottle has been opened, you have 6 months to use it. This recommendation is based on tests carried out by independent laboratories before the product was placed on the market. However, after internal tests that have been made, it is indicated that is completely effective after 6 months.

As long as the bottle has not been opened, it can be stored indefinitely.

KATHAROS solution is stored in glass bottles to avoid any risk of dispersion. Furthermore, the glass bottles are amber-coloured to protect the product from UV rays and guarantee its purity.

KATHAROS solution is completely transparent, which reflects its quality. The smaller the particles, the more transparent and effective the solution. The colour of the gel can vary due to oxidation: the colour does not affect its effectiveness.

KATHAROS only uses purified water and silver in the production of their liquids. For the gel, a natural preservative and gelling agent is added.

Thanks to its production method, KATHAROS solution is made up of minute particles measuring 150 picometres (less than a nanometre), thereby guaranteeing a high level of effectiveness.

After reviewing the scientific literature, it was found that many researchers concluded that: the more concentrated the solution, the more effective it is. Based on this observation, KATHAROS worked for more than a year to produce the most concentrated colloidal silver solution possible via electrolysis: their tests, allowed them to consistently achieve a concentration of 40 PPM.

The claim that solutions over 10, 15 or 20 PPM are less effective has been flying around for a while. There is no scientific data to back up this theory.

28 Maharishi Ayurveda FAQs

The plastic supplement bottles, lids, seals, labels, glass bottles and product boxes are all recyclable. Also, all the plastic bottles are stamped with a PET plastic number for recycling.

None of Maharishi's products are tested on animals and they are cruelty-free.

Yes, the products are tested for pesticides, heavy metals and microbiological contamination. There are only used ingredients and herbal products that meet our rigorous standards for safety. The traditional methods of Ayurveda are followed while employing the highest standards of quality control. To ensure purity, Maharishi AyurVeda products are tested before, during and after manufacture and then tested again by an accredited independent analytical laboratory (that meets ISO 17025 standards), prior to distribution. MA/Veda herbs are tested once at our manufacturing facility. These tests include examination for:

  • Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury)
  • Residual pesticides (at the start of the manufacturing process)
  • Microbiological contamination (including E. coli, coliforms, staph and salmonella)

Maharishi's products far exceed the testing guidance of the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) and specifications of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

The FDA requires to list the maximum number of tablets in the Serving Size area of the Supplement Facts box if a range is given for "Suggested Use." For example, if Organic Ashwagandha recommends “1-2 tablets twice daily, with water after meals” then we list “Serving Size 2 tablets” in order to have compliance with these regulations. However, we recommend that you follow the Suggested Use directions to determine the quantity that works best for you.

Per vaidyas (Ayurvedic experts), Maharishi's products don’t have any side effects or contraindications, but if there’s a concern or you have a known medical condition, always consult with your health professional before taking one of the products.

Maharishi's bottles are partially filled with cotton, as is the industry standard, to protect the tablets against breakage during shipment. There are also various tablet sizes and unit sizes, some formulas containing 60 tablets and others up to 120 tablets. In an effort for the product to be efficient and consistent, it is used the same bottle and label size for the various products.

Maharishi's plastic bottles are PET 1, which is a recyclable BPA-free plastic. Maharishi is committed to continuing to switch to eco-friendly packaging options as much as possible.

Ayurvedic experts (vaidyas) generally feel that such classical rasayanas as Organic Ashwagandha are safe in these circumstances, and there is a long history of use. All Maharishi's products are made from whole plant parts, not synthetic concentrates, and as such do not have known side effects. But, modern standards must be adhered. Unless you have consulted with your physician first, and they recommend it, we do not recommend taking these or any herbal product while pregnant or lactating.

None of Maharishi products contain genetically modified organisms (GMO's), and they are careful to source from vendors who can assure us that their ingredients are non-GMO. Look for the "Non-GMO" seal on all of the supplement, tea, and food packaging. Also, organic products are always non-GMO. As part of the USDA organic guidelines, a product must not contain any GMO inputs/ingredients in order to carry the USDA organic seal.

Licorice is a traditional herbal remedy with a lot of benefits in ayurveda. It has a rasayana (health-promoting) effect on the mind and body, and is also balancing to Vata and Pitta. It supports healthy immunity, is good for the eyes and complexion, nourishes the tissues, soothes the digestive tract and promotes circulation.

In Maharishi's synergistic formulas, the licorice is processed and used in a particular way in combination with other herbs that counterbalance any negative effect licorice could cause in the physiology (or to blood pressure) if taken by itself. The licorice used in the products is not deglycerized.

However, if someone already has high blood pressure or is concerned about taking a product containing licorice, we recommend you monitor blood pressure when taking the product, and/or consult your health professional before using one of our licorice-containing products.

All of Maharishi products are vegetarian. There are some of the which are vegan as well.

Pearl, coral, conch and other shell ingredients are processed using traditional ayurvedic methods that incinerate the minerals, converting them to a fine powder. During the incineration process, the allergen properties, if previously present, are destroyed. The process involves many steps of purifying the original materials. Because of the processing, a customer who is allergic to shellfish shouldn’t have any issue using one of the products containing shell ingredients. But it is always best to be cautious and alert to any symptoms when first trying the product. To date there is no negative feedback.

Calcium its sourced from areas that are not known to be polluted, and test the quality of calcium for heavy metals and pollutants before use. Once harvested, the pure inner layer of calcium is used and the upper layer of calcium is removed, which has come into contact with the environment. This process has to be done by hand, but ensures that the calcium used is of the highest quality. It is then purified according to the ayurvedic texts.

No, animals are not harmed while harversting Maharishi’s shell ingredients. It's part of the cycle of nature. Once the animal has vacated its shell, then the shell, pearl or pearl oyster are collected for use in the products. No killing is involved.

None of Maharishi’s products contain soy, and the manufacturing facility doesn’t process any products containing soy.

Yes, all Maharishi AyurVeda supplement products are gluten-free and made in a gluten-free production facility. Therefore, none of the products come into contact with any gluten-containing ingredients.

You may notice that some of the products contain up to 99.5% organic ingredients, but do not feature the USDA organic seal on the packaging. Why is this? In order to certify a product as USDA organic, any non-organic ingredients in the product, no matter how small a percentage of the formula, must be on an approved list from the USDA National Organic Program (NOP). All of Maharishi’s formulas contain exotic, ayurvedic ingredients. Since many of these exotic herbs are not yet on the NOP approved list, the entire formula cannot be certified as USDA organic even though the formula may contain almost 100% organic plants. It can take many years to petition to add new ingredients to the list and the outcome is uncertain. Maharishi do not compromise their formulas. The small percentage of non-organic ingredients could be removed and easily obtain the seal, but it’s not. All of the herbal supplements are made according to the ancient ayurvedic texts, and it’s intended to continue making them using the same ingredients that have been used for thousands of years. This is Maharishi commitment to maintaining the effectiveness and the purity of the ayurvedic tradition. It is the only way to craft ayurvedic formulations that deliver maximum effect for mind and body. Where and when possible, Maharishi will continue to introduce organic... Read more

Maharishi products are most effective when used prior to their best before date. According to vaidyas (Ayurvedic experts), products can be used up to a year past their best before date, but they may not be as effective as fresh product.

The tablets can be cut in half using a pill cutter. Alternatively, tablets can be ground into powder and mixed with raw unheated honey, applesauce or maple syrup.

You can facilitate the balancing process by also adjusting your diet and routine. Maharishi AyurVeda herbal formulations provide a very powerful way to address imbalances and restore balance and well-being for a long, healthy life. By taking the right amount at the right time, and by adjusting your diet, you can greatly enhance their benefits.

Since you use your body's systems and organs every day, they need constant support until the imbalance is addressed. Add supplements into your daily routine, and if you tend to forget to take them, devise ways to remind yourself. Create reminders in your cell phone or put post-it notes on your computer. Keep your supplements on your dining table instead of in the cupboard. Carry them with you in a tablet dispenser.

You can follow the instructions on the bottle. But there is some flexibility—if those times don’t work for you, then take them at your convenience. The main point is to take the herbal formulas regularly—for that is how the results come.

For herbal formulas that are designed for addressing a health issue before it manifests, it’s best to take them regularly for two to three months. For herbal formulas that are designed to restore balance it’s best to take them until the imbalance has been addressed. Once balance is restored, you can continue for at least two weeks longer to be sure the body has adjusted to the new state of balance. For detoxifying herbal formulas, it’s best to use them according to the guidelines given. For certain ongoing issues, it may be helpful to take the supplement on a regular basis to enjoy balance.

You shouldn't take more than two products that address the same, related issues without first consulting an ayurvedic expert. Maharishi AyurVeda formulas are designed to take care of several aspects of the same condition, so taking more will not necessarily increase their effectiveness. As far as dosage (i.e. the number of tablets to take at a time), you can follow the recommendations on the bottle. According to Maharishi AyurVeda, the dosage needed to correct an imbalance depends on the strength of the patient and the severity of the imbalance. This is best evaluated by an expert trained in Maharishi Ayurveda.

That depends on what you are taking. As a general rule, don't take more than four formulas at a time.

Focusing on one or two imbalances at a time is best. Start with those imbalances that are the most noticeable. Sometimes, you may find that in addressing those, some secondary imbalances get addressed as well.

In Maharishi AyurVeda, it’s considered symptoms to be like the fruits of a tree. In most cases, there is a common root. There are primary and secondary imbalances. AyurVeda tries to address the primary imbalance first. Addressing the secondary imbalances might help, but that is only a partial approach. To take the guesswork out of the problem, see a Maharishi AyurVeda expert (vaidya) who can determine the root cause of the issue, and address all of your imbalances. Once you meet with an ayurvedic expert, he or she can explain which foods and lifestyle habits are contributing to your imbalance. By knowing the root causes, you can work towards creating balance. As part of your wellness consultation with an ayurvedic expert, you’ll receive recommendations that are designed for your body type, imbalances, and age—and which take into account the current season and even the time of day. If you can follow the recommended diet and daily routine, and at the same time avoid the underlying causal factors (i.e. foods and lifestyle habits that aggravate your imbalance), over time, balance will be restored. When your mind, body and emotions are functioning in balance, you will have no need for herbal formulas! Digestion is also a key factor in restoring balance and strengthening immunity. Thus in most cases, the ayurvedic expert will make recommendations for strengthening digestion. Once these functions are restored, the body begins to function in a more balanced... Read more

Maharishi AyurVeda supplements contain high-quality herbs that are combined into potent formulas to address the underlying imbalance in the physiology, without causing side effects. Instead of just addressing the surface level, these formulations aim to enliven balance in the physiology and target the root cause of the issue.

The time it takes to see results with hair oil varies from person to person and depends on various factors, including your hair's current condition and the specific oil used. In some cases, you may notice immediate benefits such as smoother, shinier hair. However, when it comes to significant improvements in hair growth and thickness, it typically takes patience and consistent use over several weeks to months. Most experts recommend regularly oiling your hair at least once a week for a few months to see noticeable changes, but individual results can vary. It's essential to remember that hair growth is a gradual process, and while hair oiling can promote a healthier scalp and hair, it may not yield instant or miraculous results.
Hair oiling aids in hair growth by promoting a healthier scalp environment and stronger hair. When you apply oil to your scalp and massage it in, you stimulate blood circulation, ensuring that hair follicles receive more oxygen and essential nutrients. This improved nourishment can encourage the growth of new hair strands and strengthen existing ones, reducing the risk of breakage. Additionally, oils lock in moisture, preventing dryness and damage, while some oils possess antimicrobial properties that help combat dandruff and scalp issues, creating the optimal conditions for hair growth. Regular hair oiling, when combined with a balanced hair care routine, can contribute to longer, thicker, and healthier hair.

Yes, neem oil can be left on overnight when used for various purposes, including head lice treatment or skincare. Leaving it on overnight allows the neem oil to penetrate and work effectively. However, it's essential to dilute neem oil with a carrier oil and conduct a patch test beforehand to ensure there is no adverse reaction or sensitivity to the oil. Also, consider covering your head with a shower cap or using a towel to protect your bedding or pillowcase from potential staining. In the morning, you can wash off the neem oil using a mild shampoo or cleanse the skin thoroughly.
Prepare the neem oil mixture: Mix pure neem oil with a carrier oil, such as coconut oil or olive oil, in a ratio of 1 part neem oil to 10 parts carrier oil. This dilution helps to prevent skin irritation. Apply the mixture to the scalp: Gently massage the neem oil mixture onto the scalp, ensuring that it covers the entire scalp and hair roots. Pay extra attention to the areas where lice and nits (lice eggs) are commonly found, such as the back of the neck and behind the ears. Cover the head: Put on a shower cap or wrap a towel around the head to keep the neem oil mixture in place and to prevent staining of fabrics. Leave it on overnight: Allow the neem oil mixture to stay on the scalp and hair overnight. This gives the oil enough time to suffocate the lice and disrupt their life cycle. Comb out the lice and nits: In the morning, use a fine-toothed lice comb to carefully comb through the hair, removing dead lice and nits. Start from the roots and comb all the way to the ends of the hair strands. Wipe the comb on a paper towel or rinse it in warm, soapy water after each stroke to prevent re-infestation. Shampoo and rinse: Wash the hair thoroughly with a mild shampoo to remove the neem oil and any remaining lice or nits. Repeat the treatment: To ensure complete eradication of lice, repeat the neem oil treatment and combing process every 5 to 7 days for a few weeks. This helps to target newly hatched lice that may have survived the initial treatment. Take preventive measures: To prevent re-infestation, wash bedding, clothing, and personal items that may have come into contact with lice in hot water and dry them on high heat. Vacuum upholstered furniture and car seats, and seal non-washable items in plastic bags for a few weeks. It's important to note that while neem oil can be an effective natural remedy for head lice, it may not eliminate all lice and nits with a single treatment. If the infestation persists or becomes severe, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional or a licensed pharmacist for further guidance and treatment... Read more

Yes, stretch marks can fade over time, but the extent to which they fade varies from person to person. Stretch marks are caused by the stretching and tearing of the middle layer of the skin called the dermis. Initially, they often appear as red or purple lines on the skin, but over time they may fade to a lighter color, usually a silvery or white shade. The fading of stretch marks occurs due to the natural healing and remodeling process of the skin. As time passes, the blood vessels in the affected area contract and the production of collagen, a protein that gives the skin its structure, increases. These changes contribute to the gradual lightening of the stretch marks.

Losing weight can potentially reduce the appearance of cellulite, but it may not eliminate it entirely. Cellulite is caused by fat deposits pushing against connective tissue, which creates a dimpled or lumpy appearance on the skin. When you lose weight, you generally reduce the amount of fat in your body, which can lead to a reduction in the visibility of cellulite. However, losing weight alone may not completely get rid of cellulite for everyone. Cellulite can be influenced by factors like genetics, hormones, and the structure of your connective tissue. Some individuals may still have visible cellulite even after losing weight. It's important to maintain realistic expectations and focus on overall health rather than solely targeting cellulite. Adopting a healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise, a balanced diet, staying hydrated, and building muscle tone can help improve the appearance of cellulite while promoting overall well-being.
Cellulite refers to the dimpled appearance of the skin caused by fat deposits pushing against connective tissue. It is a common concern for many people, particularly women. Some proponents of dry brushing argue that the practice can improve circulation, stimulate lymphatic drainage, and break down fat cells, leading to a reduction in cellulite. While dry brushing may have temporary effects such as exfoliating the skin and providing a temporary tightening sensation, there is insufficient scientific evidence to support the claim that it can effectively treat or reduce cellulite. The underlying causes of cellulite are complex and multifactorial, including genetics, hormones, lifestyle factors, and body composition.
The effectiveness and timeframe for our cellulite oil to work can vary depending on several factors, including the severity of the cellulite, and individual response. Some people may notice a temporary improvement in the texture and appearance of their skin shortly after applying a cellulite oil. This can be due to the moisturizing effects and temporary tightening of the skin. However, for more noticeable and long-term results, it is often recommended to use the product consistently over a period of weeks or months. Additionally, it's important to manage expectations and understand that cellulite is a complex issue and no product can completely eliminate it. A holistic approach that combines regular exercise, a healthy diet, and other lifestyle factors may yield the best results in reducing the appearance of cellulite
While exercise can improve the appearance of cellulite, it may not completely eliminate it. Cellulite is caused by a combination of factors, including genetics, hormonal changes, and the structure of the skin. Exercise can help by reducing overall body fat, increasing muscle tone, and improving blood circulation, which may reduce the visibility of cellulite. However, it is important to note that individual results may vary, and cellulite may still be present even with regular exercise. Other treatments such as diet modifications, topical creams, and medical procedures may also be considered for more significant reduction in cellulite appearance.
While there is no definitive cure for cellulite, various treatments and lifestyle changes, topical oils and herbs may help reduce its appearance. Maintaining a balanced diet can help prevent weight gain and reduce the appearance of cellulite. Eating a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins while limiting processed foods and sugary snacks can promote healthy skin and overall well-being. Regular exercise: Engaging in regular physical activity can help burn fat, tone muscles, and improve circulation, potentially reducing the appearance of cellulite. Incorporating both cardiovascular exercises (such as running or swimming) and strength training (such as weightlifting) can be beneficial. Some massage techniques, such as lymphatic drainage massage or deep tissue massage, may help temporarily reduce fluid retention, improve circulation, and diminish the appearance of cellulite.
Upon application, you may experience a warming sensation, which can help soothe muscle soreness and tension. This immediate effect is often attributed to ingredients like camphor, active compounds and the warming herbs infused. You should be able to find comfort within 30 minutes to an hour. In terms of longer-term effects, muscle oil can continue to provide relief and relaxation for several hours after application. However, it's important to note that muscle oil is not a cure-all and may not provide instant or long-lasting relief for all individuals or conditions. Additionally, it's worth considering that the effectiveness of muscle oil can also depend on the severity and nature of the muscle discomfort you are experiencing. For more persistent or severe issues, it may be necessary to consult a healthcare professional for a comprehensive evaluation and appropriate treatment.
According to Ayurvedic principles, muscle pain is often caused by an imbalance in the body's doshas (energetic forces) or the accumulation of toxins. Applying oil to the affected area helps lubricate the muscles, tendons, and joints, reducing friction and promoting smooth movement. It helps to ease muscle stiffness and tension. Oil has the ability to penetrate the layers of the skin and reach deep tissues, providing nourishment and promoting healing. Certain Ayurvedic oils, like Mahanarayan blend as used in our Really Good Muscle and joints oil, contain a blend of herbs that are believed to have detoxifying properties. These oils help remove accumulated toxins from the muscles and joints, which can contribute to muscle pain. Massaging the affected area with oil helps improve lymphatic flow, relaxes the muscles, and stimulates the release of endorphins, the body's natural painkillers.
Muscle oil is typically designed specifically for relieving muscle soreness, tension, and promoting relaxation after physical activity. While muscle oil can be used for self-massage, it's generally intended for targeted application on specific areas of the body rather than for full-body massage, for using it as a massage oil blend it wins with Fushi Sweet Almond oil at ratio of 1:1 so it becomes less stimulating but with enough therapeutic value to leave the body rejuvenated and soothed
The frequency of applying muscle oil can vary depending on the individual. If you're experiencing acute muscle pain or discomfort, you can apply the muscle oil 2-3 times a day or as needed. Massage the oil into the affected area using gentle, circular motions. For chronic muscle issues or ongoing muscle maintenance, you can apply the oil 1-2 times a day. The main difference is the quality of the leaves and the taste. Ceremonial grade matcha is made from young, delicate tea leaves and has a refined, sweet taste, while culinary matcha can be made from older leaves and used for cooking and baking.
Ceremonial grade matcha is produced by picking young tea leaves, steaming them, drying them and then grinding them into a fine powder in traditional stone mills.
Ceremonial grade matcha is the highest quality matcha available, often used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. It is characterized by a bright green color, fine texture and subtle sweetness.
Matcha has a unique, rich flavor that is often described as slightly bitter with a sweet, umami undertone. The flavor can vary depending on the quality of the matcha, with higher quality often having a milder, sweeter flavor.
Matcha contains a high concentration of nutrients because the entire tea leaf is consumed. This makes it a popular choice for people looking to enrich their diet. It is rich in antioxidants, amino acids, and contains natural energy sources. Just make sure you buy high-quality matcha from trusted sources.
Matcha tea is a traditional Japanese drink made by dissolving matcha powder in hot water. Unlike other teas, where the leaves are steeped, the entire powder is whipped in water, allowing you to consume the entire leaf.
Matcha is valued by many for its versatility and rich nutritional profile. It is often used to create a moment of calm and focus, or as a flavorful addition to various dishes such as smoothies, baked goods, and the popular matcha latte.
Matcha is a finely ground powder made from specially grown and processed green tea leaves. It is a traditional Japanese ingredient that has been used in tea ceremonies for centuries. Because you consume the entire leaf in powder form, matcha contains more nutrients than regular green tea.
In general, matcha is safe for most people to consume, but it contains caffeine, so people who are sensitive to caffeine should take it into account. However, pregnant women and people with certain health conditions should exercise caution and consult their doctor, if necessary, before consuming matcha.
Yes, matcha contains caffeine, but its effects are different from coffee. Matcha also contains the amino acid L-theanine, which can help soften the effects of caffeine and promote a calming focus.
To maintain the freshness and quality of matcha, it is best to store it in a cool, dry place. This allows the powder to retain its taste and nutrients for several months to a year.
Yes, matcha can be used in a variety of recipes, including smoothies, baked goods, ice cream, and even savory dishes. Adding matcha to recipes often gives them a subtle green tea flavor and a beautiful green color.
Matcha is made by picking tea leaves, steaming them, drying them and then grinding them into a fine powder using traditional granite mills.
Unlike regular green tea leaves, matcha tea leaves are grown in a shaded area before being harvested. This process increases the content of chlorophyll and amino acids, giving matcha a richer taste and a more intense green color.

Nanoparticles are not allowed in the certified organic cosmetic products. Thus, Avril certify that the range of certified organic cosmetics does not contain nanoparticles. For all practical purposes, since 2013, the term "nano" must be indicated in brackets in the INCI lists of cosmetic products, after the name of the ingredient, in order to signify the presence of nanoparticles (e.g. Titanium dioxide [nano]).
Avril does not use palm oil, but possible palm oil derivatives may be present in some of the formulas. Be careful however, certain ingredients such as palmitic acid – possible derivative – can come from palm oil as well as olive oil for example. With the COSMOS Organic standard, Avril is assured that the palm oil derivatives contained in some of the products are RSPO certified (Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil = round table on sustainable palm oil, the objective of which is to promote the production and use of sustainable palm oil) or CSPO (Certification for Sustainable Palm Oil = certified sustainable palm oil).
The term “cancer” brings together a large number of pathologies whose impact varies greatly on the skin and immune system of patients. So, what is applied to the skin as a cosmetic can also have a different impact. In addition, there are as many possible treatments as there are pathologies. This therefore generates multiple conditions that must be covered. To demonstrate that the products do not present a risk for people suffering from cancer or undergoing anti-cancer treatment, it would be necessary to carry out a large number of evaluations, tests and studies for each of the references. The costs of this approach are very high and the impact on sales prices would not be less. To ensure the affordability of the products, Avril do not formulate or test them for use in people undergoing anti-cancer treatment. It is important to maintain the skin from both a physiological and psychological point of view. If you wish to use an Avril product, we recommend that you contact a healthcare professional who can recommend or not the use of this product. We also recommend carrying out a test on the forearm (with a minimum of 2 successive applications) to ensure that you tolerate the cosmetic product... Read more
Generally speaking, allergens are not intentionally introduced into the formulas. These are substances naturally present in many essential oils, perfumes, etc. These molecules come from the fragrance of the products, which are 100% of natural origin. Registration on the INCI list is mandatory because these substances are among the 26 allergens for which there is a labeling obligation, in order to inform people potentially allergic to this molecule. For people who are not allergic to them, these substances are safe. For example, limonene is found naturally in citrus fruits. Do you have any doubts? Do not hesitate to test the product in the inner crease of the elbow before applying it to the rest of the face or body.
Avril products are not specifically tested for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. If you would like to know more, we advise you to consult a healthcare professional. If the product is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women (generally when it contains essential oils), this is indicated on the product sheet.
